
And today is Constitution Day at our little homeschool, and according to our lesson plan for the day.
Did a great lesson appropriate for second graders on what the Constitution is, the three branches of government, what they do, the Bill of Rights, etc. Had some great links to websites that had some fun activities. Fun!
We also had a lot of discussion. One of them focused on the Bill of Rights, and all the right to's we have as Americans that other countries don't have. Here is one of our conversations:
Me: JM, we have the right to bear arms. What do you think that means?
JM: The right to wear short sleeves?
