Blast From the Past....Lookie What I Found!

Old pictures! This is JM when he was about one or so. He's wearing shorts, so he must be like 15-18 months old. He's trying on my shoes. What is so funny, when we showed this to BH this morning the conversation went like this:

Dad: BH, who is that?
BH: That is me.
Dad: No, that is JM.
BH: No, that is me.
Dad: No, that is JM.
BH: No, that is me.
Dad: No, that is JM.
BH: No, that is me.

You get the point.

Who are those young people? Hubbie and I about choked when he found this. We showed it to the kids, here is how that went with JM:

Dad: JM, who is that?
JM: That is you and Mom.
Dad: That was a long time ago (specifically 1991 for our readers out there).
JM: Daddy, that was before you had a mustache on your chin.

LOVE that picture of you and M!

Similarly - AA found our wedding picture tonight while BW was cleaning the closet and asked him, "What's that?"

BW: "That's our wedding picture."

AA: "No, I know who you are. Who's that woman with you?"

BW: "That's Mommy."

AA (to me): "Mommy, I don't recognize you."

I don't know if that's good or bad.

JG says:

"MG, you are so sexy...and so thin!"

Oooooohhhhh! I think I need to find a picture of JG before he was married. We might have a little wager going about which groom plumped up the most. I think I might have one of him holding JM when he was a baby.....this could be fun!

Those pants were the coolest! I spent a lot of money at The Gap for those! But as I look back, I look like a sailor!

The mustache on the chin! I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants! LOL I do love the picture of both you...too cute :) I have pictures like that...was I really that thin?? I always think it is fun to look back. The kids found one the other day of a formal dance that Keith had gone to. We didn't know each other in high school...we lived on separate sides of the state actually. The kids thought it was me! They just could not fathom the idea that we haven't known each other our whole lives. Oh, that reminds me...one afternoon, when my nephew was 3, my mom was showing him pictures of me as a tiny little girl and he asked, "where's Uncle Keith?" As far as he was concerned, we were like "peas and carrots." Too funny :)

Thinking of you and looking forward to the candle party next weekend...it is on, yes?
