Project Drip--Over and out!

We have a couple of little finish things to do, but 99% of this project is done!

I must be dramatic for a minute. You need to understand how hard it was to keep this bathroom clean. The walls were gross because I had put a silly texture on it years ago that really made the surface like sand paper. Hard to wash when the wall takes pieces of a sponge as you are wiping it.

Also, the baseboards were nasty. Basic water damage around the tub, other kinds of damage around the toilet. I warned my contractor guy. I have always fought off a slight smell of urine around the toilet as long as we have lived here. We found the culprit when we pulled those baseboards. That is gone. Yay! Plus the new baseboards are sealed with paint and caulking. We shouldn't have that kind of moisture damage for years to come.

New sink. It's purty! New light fixture. It's purty too! New floors. It's so purty!

First thing I did tonight....squirt cough medicine on the new walls. Wiped up like a charm. Love it.

I am no longer embarrassed to let anyone use my bathroom. So feel free to come by and try it out. It's so purty!

Also because I don't usually say "slammin'" right?

:-)

That, yes. But I am always vigilant of my stalker trying to post here, and I thought it might be her way to throw me off. The "treats" gave it away. Plus I know someone else who uses "AM" besides me, so it took a cup of coffee and some thinking (= It's all good!

Ummm yes, you should come up (permanently) and see the place. I am hoping a sit down with M next week will help that along.....wink wink! I have no great info on that, but suffice to say I am praying ALL of my SoCal friends to move here. I have gotten two so far, and I am working (praying) on the others. (=
