There she is, Miss Lizzie. After keeping an eye on all the ladies last night, one cool thing happened. I figured out how to tell the other two leghorns apart. So the one with the long comb (think red thing hanging off the top of her head) is Maisy. The one with the comb that stands straight up is Daisy. Maisy is definitely in charge and she is making sure Lizzie and Daisy know she is in charge--it's called pecking order.Since our egg production will step up a bit soon, once everyone relaxes. Here is a recipe I just found that uses a lot of eggs, and sounds very yummy.

I just wanted to tell you what Denis said about the coop that burnt down and the chickens died. He said, "well, that's just poor planning. The chickens should have had their escape route all mapped out for them..."
He's so funny sometimes...
