If I Had a Nickel.....

One of these days (all kinds of sarcasm here) I really should reply to one of these emails. If I replied to one, I would be extremely rich. If I had a nickel for every one I get, I would comfortably pay my bills without ever working again. But I am just lazy, and choose not to reply. You would think with so many that I get, the world is just oozing with money to give away to people like me.

According to these things, I am supposed to keep my winnings a secret because there are unscrupulous people out there who might want to cheat and redeem their prize more than once. How dare they! I thought I would just break a little rule and share it with you. I hope that doesn't ruin my chances of winning. Again, I just don't feel the urgent need to reply at this moment, so it wouldn't matter if I shared this message with you right? We'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Here is what I have won!

Well, truly, it is a scam. My understanding is that Americans who receive these still haven't learned their lesson. They will respond to these and they will get scammed out of several thousand dollars, and it's been going on for years.

Yes, they must think we're stupid, but if we fall for out....well, then I think we are. I agree, Angela!
